The narrative board, right now

What Malaysia is actually arguing about — the main political event, today's dominant narratives, and the week's arc. Every narrative is shown with the two competing frames being pushed around it; we map the argument, we don't pick a side.

This week's arc

Narrative identification from cited public sources — news portals, official portals and public posts. No volume, engagement or sentiment figures appear here: without platform data they cannot be measured, so none are invented.

How this works

The non-partisan pledge

NPAM belongs to no party, coalition, candidate, or government body. It sells nothing and endorses no one. Questions are written to measure how people feel about issues — never to push a side. If a question ever reads as slanted, tell us and it will be rewritten or removed.

How your vote is counted

When you tap an answer, an anonymous tally for that option is incremented and the new totals are read straight back — that is the whole mechanism. No account, no cookie tracking, no personal data. Your device simply remembers which options you picked so you are not asked twice.

What this is — and isn't

  • It is an open, self-selected online snapshot — anyone with the link can answer.
  • It is NOT a scientific or representative poll, and carries no margin of error.
  • Vote-once is enforced per device only, so it can be worked around — read the numbers as a mood, not a measurement.
  • No answer is ever tied to who you are.

In your own words

One change you'd most want to see in the country? Optional, anonymous, and sent straight to Faris.

Sent — thank you for adding your voice.

NPAM is an independent civic project by Faris Suhail. Tallies are stored anonymously via a public counter service; if that service is unreachable, live numbers may briefly hide. Nothing here should be read as an election forecast.
