This site is a personal project by Faris Suhail ("I", "me"), based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I collect as little as possible, and nothing here is sold or shared for advertising. This page explains what is collected, why, and what you can ask of me — in line with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).
Email address — only if you subscribe or submit a form. Form submissions on this site (newsletter signup, contact, and access requests) are delivered to my inbox via Web3Forms, a form-relay service; I keep your address only to send you what you asked for. Reply "unsubscribe" to any email, or write to me, and I'll remove you.
Anonymous votes & poll answers (Political View / NPAM) — stored as aggregate counts only. No name, email, account, or device profile is attached to a vote, and I do not attempt to identify voters.
Feedback messages — whatever you type into the feedback widget, used only to improve the site. Don't include personal details you wouldn't want kept.
Basic visit counts & hosting logs — an aggregate visit counter, plus the standard server logs kept by the site's host, GitHub Pages (IP address, browser type, pages requested — see GitHub Pages data collection). I use these only to understand overall traffic and keep the site running.
The site uses a small amount of browser storage for convenience only — for example your EN/BM language choice and your course progress on Learn AI (which stays entirely in your browser). None of this identifies you, and clearing your browser data removes it.
Emails and form submissions: as long as needed to act on them, or until you ask me to delete them. Aggregate counts: indefinitely (they contain no personal data).
Under the PDPA you may ask me, at any time, to show you the personal data I hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email tech@farissuhail.com and I will respond within 14 days.
If this policy changes materially, the date above will change, and subscribers will be told in the next email.
